FAQ

What is Real Yield in crypto staking?
Real Yield is the actual profit from staking after subtracting all transfer fees (withdrawal and deposit). It shows the true annual percentage rate (Net APR) you will earn, not just the advertised rate.
How is Net APR calculated?
Net APR = Gross APR minus the annualized cost of transferring your funds. The formula: Net APR = Gross APR - (Transfer Fees / Principal) × (365 / Staking Days) × 100%. Transfer Fees include withdrawal from source exchange and withdrawal back after staking.
Why do withdrawal fees matter for staking?
Withdrawal fees can significantly reduce your staking profit, especially for small amounts or short periods. For example, a $10 fee on a $1,000 position staked for 30 days at 5% APR reduces your real yield from 5% to about 0.9%.
What is the breakeven period?
The breakeven period is the number of days needed for your staking rewards to cover the transfer fees. After this period, you start earning real profit. If breakeven is longer than your planned staking period, transferring is not worthwhile.
How often is the data updated?
Staking rates and withdrawal fees are updated every 30 minutes from all supported exchanges. Spot prices for fee conversion are updated every minute.
