What we publish and how

• •Rates, fees and market indicators come from official exchange APIs and open sources. Our explainers use project documentation and other primary sources.
• •Market data includes an update time. Educational examples are labelled separately.
• •Every article carries a named author and a link to their profile.

Sources, polling frequency and calculation rules live on the data methodology page.

The two dates of an article

The publication date shows when an article first appeared. The revision date shows when its text or answers to questions received a substantive update.

Errors and corrections

• •Corrected market data appears after the next source update. The date beside a value shows when it was obtained.
• •We correct errors in the article text. Substantive revisions also update the article’s revision date.

Money and independence

• •The site is free and requires no registration. The data we collect is published as machine-readable feeds under the CC BY 4.0 licence — you may take it, embed it and republish it with attribution.
• •The site includes affiliate links to exchanges. If you register through one, the exchange may share part of its commission with Yieldo. Affiliate links are disclosed in articles.
