FED EVE MEETS IRAN RELIEF

🟡 Neutral — risk-on survives, confirmation weakened.

The fresh story is that geopolitics is trying to move from shock to settlement: reports around a deal to end the Iran war reduce the tail-risk narrative, even as other Middle East headlines remain noisy. Crypto did not accelerate higher; BTC is around 65,825, up 6.7% over the week but softer than yesterday, while Fear & Greed rose to 23 — fifteenth straight day in fear, but no longer capitulation. Yesterday I expected BTC above 65,000, fear above 20 and a fresh ETF inflow above 100 million dollars; price and sentiment passed, but the ETF tape failed with a 64.09 million dollar outflow. So the rebound is alive, but institutional confirmation did not arrive.

This is a data-eve market before tomorrow's Fed decision. The supportive side is clear: net liquidity is up 1.05% over the week, a meaningful tailwind, S&P 500 has pushed higher, DeFi TVL is still up over the week, and funding is slightly negative rather than overheated. The caution is just as clear: the last CPI print was still above 4%, core inflation was rising, real yields remain high by recent standards, and dollar, yield and VIX data are still last Friday's prints, not fresh confirmation. BTC is also modestly moving opposite the dollar again, so the next dollar move matters.

SCENARIOS: if the Fed leans hawkish and the dollar reopens above 119.5073 with 10-year yields above 4.48%, BTC probably retests the 65,000 area from above and ETF outflows will matter more. If the Fed sounds patient, DXY stays below 119.5073 and 10-year yields remain at or below 4.48%, liquidity can carry BTC toward another test of yesterday's 66,118 area. The number of the day is the ETF reversal: from inflow to a 64.09 million dollar outflow.

WHAT TO WATCH

1) Fed setup: DXY above 119.5073 plus 10Y above 4.48% after the decision would be a macro veto on the rebound; both below those levels would keep risk-on intact.
2) BTC acceptance: holding above 65,000 with Fear & Greed at 23 or higher confirms buyers are absorbing the ETF miss; a close below 65,000 with fear back under 20 cancels that.
3) ETF tape: another daily outflow and a 7-day balance worse than -288.55 million dollars would show distribution; a positive daily print would repair yesterday's failed confirmation.
