PYTH staking: OIS rewards are paused
The PYTH rates in Yieldo’s table are provider offers. They do not represent a current Oracle Integrity Staking (OIS) reward rate.
No OIS payouts since 22 April 2026
Pyth set the OIS reward parameter to zero after OP-PIP-103. No OIS pool currently distributes PYTH rewards. Staking and slashing remain active: tokens assigned to a publisher can still be slashed for data-quality failures. Governance staking remains available and is a separate purpose, not evidence of a yield.
A pause in rewards does not close the position
The governance update leaves withdrawal rights unchanged; it does not automatically withdraw existing stakes. Manage unstaking in the official Pyth interface and check when the balance is available. A provider’s positive PYTH APR can describe its own Earn product, with its own payout asset and redemption conditions; it must not be used to forecast OIS income.
