Flap: configure a token and where its trading tax goes

Flap is a token launch platform on EVM networks. Creators can launch a standard token or configure taxes on buys and sells. Proceeds go to a designated recipient, a distribution program or eligible holders under the launch’s rules. Trading starts on the Flap curve and moves to the token’s configured DEX pool.

The purchased token, quote and reward asset

The launch token, its pairing asset and its reward asset serve different purposes. Flap names the launch platform.

TOKEN

A specific launch token

Each token has its own address, implementation version and settings. Tax Token V3 configures buy and sell rates separately.

PAIR

The trading quote

The quote buys the token and is received when selling. Before graduation, purchases build the curve’s reserve of that asset.

REWARD

The holder payment asset

V3 can distribute the quote, the launch token itself or another ERC-20 with a supported swap path. The launch settings select it.

GAS

Payment for network operations

Gas uses the selected network’s native asset: BNB on BNB Chain, ETH on Robinhood Chain. The quote and reward asset have separate settings.

Select the network for the intended product

The Flap menu includes BSC, Robinhood, Base, XLayer, Monad and Morph. Launches, distribution programs and AI requests use their own supported features.

DEPLOY

Launch contracts across five networks

Published mainnet contract addresses cover BNB Chain, Robinhood Chain, Base, X Layer and Monad. The launch version sets its pair and DEX migration.

ROBINHOOD

ETH quote and a v2 pool

The documented Robinhood route uses ETH as its quote and Uniswap v2 after the curve. It supports standard tokens and Tax Token V3.

MORPH

Its own launch form

The Morph form displays ETH and BGB with its own set of settings. Curve trading in this network uses a 2.5% protocol fee.

AI

Oracle on BNB Mainnet

AI Oracle accepts contract requests and BNB payment. Selecting another network in the global menu leaves Oracle’s own network as BNB Mainnet.

Token settings and payment recipients

A standard launch, holder rewards or a custom program

Trading tax is a setting of the token contract. The creator chooses buy and sell rates and the destinations of collected funds.

Standard token

  1. 01Select the quote and launch settings
  2. 02Buy and sell on the Flap curve
  3. 03Continue trading in the created DEX pool

A standard launch has no token trading tax. Curve trades pay Flap’s fee; after graduation, trading uses the selected pool’s charges. The launch version determines the migration route.

Route rules ↗

Holder rewards

  1. 01Set buy and sell rates and the dividend portion
  2. 02Collect tax and route it into Dividend
  3. 03Receive accrual in the selected reward asset

Where curve tax is enabled, collection uses the quote. After DEX migration, the contract can collect launch tokens and convert them for distribution. Assets deposited into Dividend accrue to eligible holders; manual or sponsored claims pay their wallets.

Route rules ↗

Selected program

  1. 01Assign a wallet or vault contract
  2. 02Route its allocated trading tax
  3. 03Execute the selected program’s rules

A vault is a program that receives an allocation and spends it under its rules. It can split payments across addresses, make scheduled purchases or route fees through Gift. Each template defines its recipients and actions.

Find a token, choose a program or connect AI

Creators select token rules and programs for funds; holders trade and claim accrued payments. Developers can connect an AI answer to their own contract.

Trading and tax settings

Flap Board

Board lists tokens and pairs. Tax Info shows buy and sell rates and payment destinations. Create Token opens the launch form.

Templates for distributing funds

Flap Vault Store

Vault Store offers Gift, Split, scheduled purchases, Stocks and other programs. Developers can enter their own compatible factory.

Scheduled token release

Flap Token Locker

Token Locker takes a token address, amount and unlock date or release cycles. It tracks supported Flap Dividend payments on the locked amount.

Model answers for smart contracts

Flap AI Oracle

The BNB Mainnet Oracle receives a request and payment, runs a model with tools and returns a selected answer to the contract. Inputs, output and model records are available through IPFS.

Prepare the wallet and launch settings

Flap’s terms require users to be 18 or older and comply with sanctions and applicable legal restrictions. Connected third-party products have their own eligibility conditions.

01

Choose the network and quote

Connect the wallet to the operation’s network. Fund it with the purchase asset and native gas asset; that network’s form displays its available quotes.

02

Configure buys and sells

A tax launch sets two rates, a recipient and distribution portions. The BSC form offers creator funds, burning, holder dividends and liquidity destinations.

03

Assign a program and sign

The recipient can be a wallet or compatible vault. Developers can supply their own factory without prior registration. The wallet signature creates the launch with its selected settings.

Protocol fees and token tax have separate recipients

A purchase pays for the token and its route’s charges. The launch defines its tax allocations, while protocol receipts use a separate Safe wallet.

Curve buyer or seller

Curve trading

The curve fee is 1% on BNB, Robinhood, XLayer and Monad, and 2.5% on Morph. That curve fee ends when the token moves to its DEX.

Protocol Safe wallet

Participant in a taxed trade

A specific launch’s tax

The token sets buy and sell rates and destination portions. Tax token protocol rules provide for a rate up to 0.3% of trade volume; the precise rate belongs to the launch contract. V3 can also assign a third-party launchpad commission receiver; its share is calculated from the tax remainder after the protocol fee.

The selected token’s Dividend program

Payment to a holder

Assets deposited into Dividend accrue according to each holder’s tracked share. A manual caller pays claim gas; a sponsor pays it for a sponsored claim.

Token Locker position

Locked principal and supported rewards

Token Locker releases deposited principal on schedule and tracks supported Dividend payments separately. The current standard rates are 0% on principal and 5% on dividends; the rate agreed for a lock is fixed when it is created.

How a reward accrues and reaches its holder

The token’s program tracks eligible holder balances and incoming reward assets.

01

Holder share

Settings define a minimum balance and excluded addresses, such as the trading pool and burn address. Balance changes update the tracked share.

02

Accrual when assets arrive

A deposit into Dividend increases rewards available to eligible holders. A new buyer participates in subsequent deposits.

03

Manual or sponsored claim

A holder can claim accrued rewards directly. Another wallet or Flap automation can pay for the call on their behalf; the holder receives the payment.

TRACKER

Tracking without a tax allocation

When no tax share is allocated to holder payments, Dividend tracks balances. Rewards are distributed when a payment asset is deposited into it.

Each vault and lock has its own action

Store programs define how funds are spent; Token Locker defines when deposited tokens become available.

VAULT

A custom distribution program

A compatible factory creates a vault with selected logic. It can split receipts, purchase tokens or execute another template action; control roles depend on its contract.

GIFT V2

Fees for a selected X account

Gift V2 on BNB Chain assigns fees to an X account. Proof routes accumulated and new BNB to its EVM target. Without activation, the default seven-day grace period ends in holder dividends.

GIFT V1

A different fallback route

Legacy Gift V1 routes funds to buyback and burning when its recipient remains inactive. Taxed Gift V2 and its zero-tax V4 product use separate factories.

LOCKER

An unlock date or release cycles

The lock releases deposited tokens on schedule. A standard ERC-20 uses this principal path; compatible Flap Dividend also tracks payments on the remaining locked amount.

Token and payment questions

1Can buy and sell tax rates differ?

Tax Token V3 sets them separately. The launch’s Tax Info shows both rates and the destinations of collected funds.

2What happens to tax after DEX migration?

The contract can collect launch tokens, sell the accumulated amount into the quote and distribute it under the settings. The original Flap curve fee ends.

3Who is paid when another address calls Claim?

The selected holder. The caller pays gas, while the program sends the reward to the holder’s wallet.

4Why can a token have Dividend without an accrued reward?

V3 also creates that contract to track balances with a zero dividend allocation. Accrual begins when a reward asset is deposited into it.

5Which asset pays the reward?

The asset configured for the launch: its quote, its own token or another supported ERC-20.

6Where does AI Oracle run?

The published endpoint operates on BNB Mainnet. A contract pays for its request in BNB and receives the model response through a callback.

7What does a lock beneficiary receive?

Tokens released on schedule and supported Flap Dividend payments after that lock’s fee. If a vault pays holders directly outside Dividend, rewards for the locked period accrue to the Token Locker address and cannot be claimed by the lock beneficiary.
