Neutral

MIDDLE EAST CEASEFIRE, CRYPTO WITHOUT IMPULSE

🟡 Neutral — external fear is fading, but flows are against.

Key over the past 24 hours — geopolitical tension has eased slightly amid outlines of an agreement between the U.S. and Iran to extend the ceasefire and hold new talks. This is visible in the decline in market anxiety: the VIX fell to 15.74. At the same time, the dollar is flat, and yields have declined over the week (10-year 4.45%, 2-year 3.99%), which in itself is more of a support for risk assets, but so far without an “accelerator” effect.

Within crypto, the picture is still heavy: net liquidity has noticeably contracted over the week, and institutional flows remain negative — daily outflow from BTC ETFs is about $229M, and about $1.9B in total over the week (one of the weakest readings over the past 90 days). BTC is holding around $73,296, but without progress on ETFs the rise will be sluggish; sentiment remains in the zone of pronounced fear (23), while volatility is low (about 28% annualized) — the market is “compressed,” and any strong move can start abruptly. Compared to yesterday: the external backdrop is calmer (lower VIX), but the key problem — persistent ETF outflows — does not change.

WHAT TO WATCH

1) Whether weekly BTC-ETF flows become less negative — this is the main marker of a demand reversal.
2) Dynamics of overall liquidity: if the contraction continues, rebounds will “fade” quickly.
3) U.S. labor market data on June 5 (NFP): strong figures could bring back pressure via expectations of tighter policy.
