Risk OnETF INFLOWS
🟢 Positive — recovery signal appears, confirmation still thin.
Yesterday I expected recovery only if BTC held 64,000, fund flows stayed positive, weekly flow held above 500 million, and volatility rose above 30%; price and daily flows delivered, but weekly flow and volatility did not. So the recovery call is only partly confirmed. Critical trade- and tech-war headlines are on the tape, but market reaction is still priced in rather than stress-driven.
The useful hook is the four-session ETF inflow streak. Fresh crypto data has improved: BTC is still above the key line, spot funds took in 128.69 million, fear eased, and the regime flipped back to risk-on. But this is not a clean breakout. Weekly ETF demand slipped just below the confirmation threshold, and BTC volatility is still compressed rather than expanding.
Macro is not giving a fresh signal today because the dollar, yields, CPI, VIX and M2 are old prints rather than live moves. Lebanon adds to the geopolitical tape, and Fed commentary is still not dovish, but neither has yet changed pricing. On-chain conditions look steady, not explosive: DeFi is firmer over the week, stablecoin supply is broadly flat, and the USDT peg is normal. The market has improved, but the proof is follow-through.
WHAT TO WATCH
1) If BTC closes above the BTC line and the next ETF update reclaims the weekly threshold, the recovery signal strengthens; if not, this remains a fragile bounce.
2) If BTC volatility rises above the volatility trigger while price holds the BTC line, compression likely resolves upward; the same volatility break after losing that line would be a failed breakout.
3) If new trade or tech-war headlines push BTC below the BTC line or produce a BTC-fund outflow worse than 200 million, the “priced in” geopolitical view breaks.
