Cardano (ADA) Staking Calculator

ADA staking calculator: compare provider APRs, enter an amount in ADA or USD, and project token earnings over your chosen term.

Updated:

Yieldo compares the ADA products offered by the providers in the table. Its rate-based estimate is not a forecast of a particular Cardano stake pool’s block production.

The initial calculation uses APR without reinvesting rewards. APY already includes compounding and is calculated separately from its quoted annual yield. Select compound interest to model reinvestment. A projection is shown when the amount and period fit the displayed conditions.

This models the listed exchange products at an unchanged APR. Compounding is a scenario: it assumes rewards can be reinvested at the same rate. Actual rates, limits, payout assets and redemption terms depend on the product.

The fee is the lowest known enabled withdrawal route on that exchange, not a redemption fee. Check the receiving network before using it. A dash means the fee is unknown; net earnings are then unavailable. Trading costs, taxes and price changes are excluded.

Example: 1,000 ADA at an assumed 4% APR earns 40 ADA over 365 days with simple interest, before fees. This is an illustration, not a current offer or a native staking estimate.

ADA staking: Cardano delegation and exchange products

Yieldo compares the ADA products offered by the providers in the table. Its rate-based estimate is not a forecast of a particular Cardano stake pool’s block production.

Delegate ADA without transferring custody

Native Cardano delegation leaves ADA in your own wallet, available to spend. Rewards are paid in ADA and depend on the pool’s performance, fees and saturation. They are not a fixed daily interest payment. Cardano epochs last about five days; the first reward normally arrives after 15–20 days if the pool produces blocks. Subsequent rewards participate in delegation automatically.

Compare the cost and access to your ADA

Native delegation needs a transaction fee and, for a new stake credential, a refundable registration deposit. Reward withdrawals require an active voting delegation, which may be to a DRep, abstain or no confidence. An exchange instead controls the deposited ADA and sets its own reward and redemption terms: a flexible Earn balance is not the same as spendable ADA in your wallet.

FAQ

FAQ

How can I estimate the amount of ADA rewards?
For a simple-interest scenario, multiply the ADA amount by APR divided by 100 and by days divided by 365. Compounding assumes rewards can be reinvested at the same rate. This projects the displayed provider rate; it does not calculate a Cardano pool’s future block production, fees or reward schedule.
Can I spend ADA while it is delegated?
Native Cardano delegation leaves ADA in your wallet, available to spend. An exchange Earn balance follows the exchange’s lock and redemption terms instead. Redeeming that product and withdrawing ADA to a wallet are separate actions; do not assume either is immediate.
Why have I received no ADA rewards after a week?
Native delegation has a snapshot and epoch delay. Cardano gives a typical first payout of 15–20 days, conditional on the pool producing blocks. Check the stake registration, chosen pool and epoch history before treating an empty first week as a failure.
Does the highest ADA APR identify the best stake pool?
No. A provider’s Earn rate and a Cardano pool’s expected return measure different arrangements. For native delegation, compare pool performance, margin, fixed cost and saturation; for exchange Earn, compare the amount eligible for the displayed rate and the redemption terms.
