Your ecosystem guide / Hyperliquid

Hyperliquid: HyperCore, HyperEVM and apps

Hyperliquid is an independent Layer 1. HyperCore runs spot and perpetual order books, while HyperEVM runs EVM contracts. Both use HyperBFT consensus.

Hyperliquid Mainnet: two execution environments

HyperCore runs native trading; HyperEVM runs smart contracts. They share Hyperliquid consensus, while the balances used by each environment are recorded separately.

First deposit and trade

Reach your first trade and account for its costs

To trade on HyperCore with a connected wallet, prepare native USDC and ETH on Arbitrum, then use Deposit in Hyperliquid. Email login uses a different deposit route. HyperEVM is a separate environment with gas paid in HYPE: a HyperCore balance does not itself pay for HyperEVM transactions.

  1. USDC and ETH on Arbitrum

For a connected wallet, the standard Deposit route accepts USDC from Arbitrum. Check native USDC against Circle’s contract list and keep ETH on Arbitrum for the deposit transaction.

  2. Deposit into HyperCore

Connect your wallet in the official interface and use Deposit. This route has a minimum deposit of 5 USDC; a smaller transfer is lost. Check the conditions before sending.

  3. Position size and tariff

After the deposit arrives, check collateral and position size separately. Allow for opening and closing fees; holding a perpetual position also adds funding.

Two budgets, one route

Calculation snapshot: 08.10.2026 04:10 MSK

Trading interface: Hyperliquid official interface · 0.045% + 0.045%

Withdrawal fees used in the calculation: HTX: 0.0527 USDC; HTX: 0.0002 ETH. Conversion quotes: USDC = 1.0003 USDT; ETH = 2573.735 USDT. Checked 08.10.2026 04:10 MSK. The example assumes 1 USDT = $1; this is a conversion assumption, not a separate USDT/USD quote.

Accounted costs for budgets of $100 and $1,000
Starting budget$100.00$1000.00
Gas reserve, within the budget$12.87$12.87
Position size$86.52$986.12
Exchange withdrawals$0.57$0.57
Trading fee$0.08$0.89
Accounted costs$0.65$1.45
Amount before other costs$99.35$998.55

An illustrative opening and closing of the same position size at 1× leverage and an unchanged price. Exchange withdrawals and the tier 0 base taker tariff for validator-operated perpetuals are included: 0.045% for opening and closing. Volume, staking and referral discounts are not applied; third-party interface fees, spot and HIP-3 markets are outside this tariff. Arbitrum deposit gas, slippage, funding and a later withdrawal from Hyperliquid are excluded; this is not a return calculation.

The reserve amount is an assumption in this example, not a required amount for every trade. It remains part of your balance: only the amount spent becomes a cost. The last row is an upper bound after the accounted fees, before network costs and price changes. It is not a net trading result.

Check exchange withdrawals now

This table updates separately from the snapshot above. Before withdrawing, check the network, asset, minimum and conditions on the exchange itself. Each row shows when the data was collected, in Moscow time.

Before transferring

Can I deposit into Hyperliquid from Base?

It depends on your login method. For a connected wallet, standard Deposit accepts USDC over Arbitrum. With email login, the current Across route supports USDC from Arbitrum, Base, Ethereum and Polygon. Use the address and conditions shown by your chosen deposit method.

What happens to a deposit below 5 USDC?

With a connected wallet, a deposit below 5 USDC is lost. With email login, an amount below 5 USDC is not credited to HyperCore and is redirected to the email wallet; an amount below 1 USDC is lost. Check the current minimum in the interface before transferring.

Can a HyperCore balance be used by a HyperEVM app?

Balances do not move automatically. HyperEVM needs HYPE for gas, and the asset must support the chosen transfer route. Circle’s native USDC on HyperEVM and USDC on HyperCore cannot be treated as interchangeable just because their tickers match; transfers between the environments can also cost gas.

Does a gas-free order mean free trading?

Trading fees, possible third-party interface fees and funding are separate costs. With leverage, position size differs from collateral; compare tariffs on the same turnover.

USDC and USDT0 reach different balances

Native USDC on HyperEVM connects to HyperCore through the Hyperliquid app. USDT0 has its own deployments and transfer route. Select the destination environment as well as the token.

Getting in and out

To trade, fund HyperCore through Deposit in the trading interface. One route uses USDC from Arbitrum, with ETH for the deposit gas. USDC transfers through CCTP are also available.

Move HYPE to the environment where it will be spent

HYPE in a HyperCore Spot balance and HYPE in a HyperEVM wallet serve different operations. Use EVM ↔ Core Transfer to move it; the interface shows the source and destination balances.

CORE

Spot balance

Buy HYPE through the order book, then transfer it to HyperEVM for app transactions.

EVM

Gas balance

Keep HYPE in the HyperEVM wallet to submit transfers and call contracts. A transfer back to Core also consumes HYPE.

Wallets

The trading interface supports EVM wallets and email sign-in. Add HyperEVM to your wallet to use its apps.

Where HyperEVM transaction fees go

HyperEVM burns both the base fee and the priority fee paid in HYPE. Trading fees on HyperCore belong to a separate mechanism; a USDC or USDT0 balance pays for the asset operation while HYPE pays HyperEVM gas.

Costs when entering the ecosystem

Core

A trade

Trading does not charge gas. Trading fees are accounted for separately.

HYPE

Buying tokens

Trading terminals

Terminal

Maestro

Buys a token from a pasted contract address. Beyond a manual trade it carries limit orders, auto-snipe, copytrade, signals and a bridge.

The fee is 1% on every buy and sell; transfers are not taxed. On Solana it is taken inside the same transaction, on other chains it accrues per Telegram account and is charged once unpaid fees pass the chain minimum. Keys: the documentation cites AES encryption, the Terms of Service say the provider retains the private keys.

  • Hyper EVM

Telegram

The Terms name the United States and Canada as a Restricted Location; the page with the rest of that list, maestrobots.com/restrictedlocations, is referenced by the Terms themselves and returns 404 as of 18 September 2026.

Terminal

Based

Buys a token from a pasted contract address. It carries copytrading, take-profit and stop-loss, limit orders, DCA and a sniper marked as EVM-only.

The fee is 1% per transaction. Keys: the bot provides the wallet, the documentation says the private key is not stored in clear and describes no export button. Based publishes no Terms, so no jurisdiction limits are named anywhere.

Terminal

Cove

Trades off a single USDC balance on Solana and buys from a pasted contract address; buy and sell confirmations are off by default.

The fee is tiered: 1% on most chains, up to 2% on an Ethereum or HyperEVM buy, and Solana sells step from 10% down to 1%. Gas is sponsored up to $5 per trade and the bot asks for the surplus above that. Keys: the Privy-backed wallet is yours and the private key can be exported.
