Hyperliquid brings crypto trading and applications onto one network. Trading and network staking run on HyperCore, while smart contract applications run on HyperEVM.
HYPE pays for HyperEVM transactions and helps secure the network through validator staking on HyperCore. Staking tiers also affect trading fee discounts. The Assistance Fund uses the trading fees it receives to buy HYPE, and those coins are burned.

Why hold HYPE?
HYPE’s investment thesis is tied to Hyperliquid use: the Assistance Fund spends its share of trading fees on buying and burning the token. Participating in a network with coins allocated to block validation. You can run your own validator or participate through a selected validator or service. Rewards are earned for following the network’s rules. supports the network and gives traders discounts. The thesis depends on paying activity, demand for HYPE and tokens entering circulation.
HYPE tokenomics
The initial cap was 1 billion HYPE: 31% allocated to early users, 38.888% to future emissions and rewards, and 23.8% to core contributors. Burns reduce supply, while rewards and unlocks bring tokens into circulation.
