Rows marked “Reference” show catalogue width — the size of the listing, not the quality of the exchange — and do not count towards the overall result. The result comes from three substantive criteria: staking rates, average withdrawal fee and network availability.

The table shows the average USDT fee across the same set of networks where both exchanges allow withdrawals and publish a fee. The summary shows the fee on the named network (TRC20 first, then other networks), not the absolute minimum. The cheapest transfer between these exchanges is calculated separately and requires deposits on the receiving side.

The fee is the cheapest network with withdrawals open at each exchange; the networks are named separately below the numbers because they often differ. A dash means “not in our data”, not “unsupported”.

How these two differ

An HTX vs Bybit comparison usually opens with fee tables and closes without answering the two questions that decide it: whether you may use each venue at all, and what it costs to move coins between them. Access settles the rest. The HTX user agreement, version dated 18 June 2026, bars residents of the United States, the United Kingdom, Singapore and every EU member state from all of its services; the Bybit restricted-countries page, updated on 1 September 2026, names the United States, Canada and Hong Kong among others, but does not name the UK or the EU.

Base-tier pricing diverges on spot and almost meets on perpetuals. As of 10 September 2026 Bybit charges VIP 0 spot at 0.1% for maker and taker alike, while HTX Prime 0 charges 0.2% on both sides, or 0.15% when the fee is paid in HTX. On USDT-margined perpetuals both quote 0.02% maker, with taker at 0.055% on Bybit against 0.06% on HTX. Bybit prices like the derivatives venue it grew out of; HTX prices like a broad spot venue that sells the discount through its own token.

Coverage in the Yieldo withdrawal-fee database points the other way — 1157 coins on HTX against 797 on Bybit, 425 present on both and 732 only on the HTX side. That is our coverage, not the full listing of either exchange, and it matters for one reason: a coin you cannot withdraw is a coin you cannot move.

Two blocks here are one-sided. Yieldo holds no Earn or staking data for HTX, so the rate table carries only the Bybit column — a gap on our side, not evidence about the exchange: HTX Earn and staking are named in its own agreement and promoted most weeks, at limited-time rates no honest table would set against a standing one. Funding coverage for HTX is partial here too. What compares cleanly is withdrawal availability: the share of networks closed right now (Bybit 18.9%, HTX 19%) and the freeze count over 30 days, both below.

Which one suits you

Pick Bybit if
  • → you live in perpetuals and the terminal — this is the venue that grew out of derivatives, and the coin list is curated rather than long
  • → you turn spot positions over often: on 10 September 2026 the base tier is 0.1% per side here against 0.2% at HTX Prime 0
  • → you are based in the UK or the EU — the HTX user agreement bars residents of those jurisdictions, while the Bybit restricted list does not name them
Open Bybit
Pick HTX if
  • → the coin you need is missing on the other side: 732 coins in our withdrawal database sit only on HTX
  • → you follow fresh listings — HTX runs a separate zone for them and adds tokens almost daily
  • → you hold HTX and pay trading fees with it: that discount is what narrows the spot gap, to 0.15% per side on 10 September 2026

A route requires open withdrawals at the sender and deposits at the receiver on the same network and in the same token form. Selection requires a known fee and a withdrawal minimum compatible with 1,000 USDT. The fee shown is the sender withdrawal fee; verify the terms at both exchanges before transferring.

There is no bridge between the two: a transfer is an ordinary on-chain withdrawal, and you pay the sending exchange for it. A network only counts when withdrawals are open on the sending side and deposits are open on the receiving side, so the working routes are a subset — usually a strict one — of the 84 networks the pair has in common.

  1. Prepare the receiving account first. If that is Bybit, complete identity verification before sending — its help center states that Standard verification is mandatory across all products and services, and discovering that after the coins land is the expensive order of events.
  2. Pick the network from the direction card in the transfer block below; each leg is priced on its own for a $1,000 USDT move (HTX to Bybit: BSC at 0.01 USDT; Bybit to HTX: PLASMA at 0 USDT).
  3. Copy the deposit address for that exact network. An address issued on one chain will not accept a transfer sent over another, and such transfers cannot always be recovered.
  4. Check the minimum withdrawal amount. On small transfers the minimum blocks the move more often than the fee makes it expensive.
  5. Send, then follow confirmations in the explorer for that network before you plan the next step.

A change means the value moved between samples, not the sample itself: polling records the rate regularly, and without that collapse "changes" would simply equal the number of readings.

Each row compares one coin on one shared network; fees are in units of that coin. BTC includes only Bitcoin and the separate SegWit option; BTC representations on BSC, X Layer and other chains are excluded. The network and token form must match the receiving address details. FAQ

Which is cheaper to trade on, Bybit or HTX?
On base-tier spot, Bybit: 0.1% per side against 0.2% at HTX Prime 0 as of 10 September 2026, or 0.15% if you pay HTX fees in its own token. On USDT-margined perpetuals the gap nearly closes — 0.02% maker on both, 0.055% taker on Bybit against 0.06% on HTX. Both venues price by tier, so these are the entry rates, not yours after volume.
Do Bybit and HTX require identity verification?
Bybit states in its help center, updated on 20 August 2026, that Standard verification is mandatory across all products and services; unverified accounts keep only a capped withdrawal allowance that depends on region and changes over time. HTX writes in its user agreement that access to its services follows registration and identity verification. Practical reading: verify on the receiving side before you send anything.
Can I use HTX from the US, the UK or the EU?
Not according to HTX itself. Its user agreement, version dated 18 June 2026, lists the United States, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Hong Kong, mainland China and every EU member state among jurisdictions barred from all services. Bybit excludes the United States and Canada as well, but its restricted-countries page updated on 1 September 2026 does not name the UK or the EU. Both lists change without much notice.
How do I move USDT from HTX to Bybit?
As a plain on-chain withdrawal over a network where HTX allows withdrawals and Bybit accepts deposits. The direction card above prices that leg live, cheapest working route first (right now HTX to Bybit runs through BSC at 0.01 USDT per $1,000). Verify your Bybit account first, then copy the deposit address for the exact network you selected.
Which exchange has more coins you can actually withdraw?
In the Yieldo withdrawal database HTX carries 1157 coins against 797 on Bybit, with 425 on both, 732 unique to HTX and 372 unique to Bybit. This measures our coverage of both venues, not their full listings.
Can I compare Earn yields between the two on this page?
No, and the table says so: we hold no Earn or staking data for HTX, so only the Bybit column is filled. HTX does run Earn and staking products — its own agreement names them — but the yields it advertises are mostly limited-time campaigns, and comparing a promotional rate with a standing one without the amount, term and cap behind it would be worse than showing nothing.

What to choose

HTX leads on 1 of 2 criteria against 0 for Bybit — the rest are close enough to call a draw. Which of them matters depends on what you need the exchange for.
