About HTX

HTX is a centralized cryptocurrency exchange founded in 2013 as Huobi and rebranded to HTX in 2023. It is one of the oldest venues still operating at scale, with a large Asian user base and a broad spot listing.

Is HTX the same exchange as Huobi?
Yes. Huobi Global rebranded to HTX in September 2023; the trading infrastructure and API endpoints remain the same, which is why the API host is still api.huobi.pro.
Why does Yieldo show fewer HTX perpetual contracts than the exchange lists?
HTX lists over three hundred perpetual contracts, but about two thirds of them are tokenized stocks, indices, metals or commodities rather than crypto. Most are labelled as such by the exchange itself; some newly listed ones arrive with no labels at all, and Yieldo filters those out by requiring a live spot market on HTX. A handful of genuine crypto perpetuals have no spot market there either, and are covered through other exchanges instead.
Are HTX staking rates available on Yieldo?
No. HTX does not publish a documented public API for its Earn products, so staking rates for this exchange are not collected.
