Compound is a protocol where users supply crypto assets to lend or borrow against collateral. COMP holders and their delegates make decisions on market settings and protocol upgrades.

To vote, a COMP holder assigns voting power to their own address or a representative through Tally on Ethereum. Delegation transfers voting rights while COMP stays in the wallet. Earning lending interest involves separately supplying a supported base asset to a Compound market.
