Rows marked “Reference” show catalogue width — the size of the listing, not the quality of the exchange — and do not count towards the overall result. The result comes from three substantive criteria: staking rates, average withdrawal fee and network availability.

The table shows the average USDT fee across the same set of networks where both exchanges allow withdrawals and publish a fee. The summary shows the fee on the named network (TRC20 first, then other networks), not the absolute minimum. The cheapest transfer between these exchanges is calculated separately and requires deposits on the receiving side.

How these two differ

HTX vs OKX is a choice between two house styles, not a ranking. HTX runs a broad listing book and keeps a long tail of tokens withdrawable; OKX keeps a shorter curated list and spends its effort on licensing and product depth. The HTX counter 1157 and the OKX counter 477 sit side by side in the overlap block on this page, and both describe the Yieldo withdrawal-fee base rather than either venue's full listing.

Price is the structural part, and easy to verify. At the entry tier on 10 September 2026, OKX charged 0.0800% maker and 0.1000% taker on spot for a Regular user, while HTX charged 0.2000% on both sides at Prime0. On USDT-margined perpetuals the two nearly meet: 0.0200% and 0.0500% against 0.0200% and 0.0600%. Both discount from there, along different rails — HTX takes 25% off spot fees if you let it charge them in its platform token, while OKX states plainly that it offers no OKB fee-offset feature at all.

Earn is the one block this page will not compare. Yieldo holds no HTX Earn rows while the OKX catalogue is mapped, and that is a gap in our database, not in HTX, whose own user agreement names Earn and staking products among its services. Funding is only partly comparable for the same reason, and the settlement interval is set per contract on both sides — 8, 4 or 1 hour at HTX, 8, 4, 2 or 1 at OKX — so a rate means nothing next to another until both are normalised to the same period.

Jurisdiction is the hardest divergence and the one to check first. The HTX user agreement bars every EU member state, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Hong Kong, mainland China and the United States from all services. OKX runs the other way in Europe: OKX Europe holds a MiCA licence from the Malta Financial Services Authority, passported across the EEA, while its own restricted list covers the US, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, India and Malaysia among others, and restricts its fiat payment services for Russia. Both documents say the lists change without notice.

Which one suits you

Pick HTX if
  • → the token you actually withdraw sits in the long tail: the coins carried only by HTX 886 are counted in the overlap block on this page
  • → you are outside the EU, the UK, Singapore and Hong Kong, all of which its user agreement closes off entirely
  • → you would rather verify in steps: the first level opens deposits and withdrawals, the higher ones raise the daily caps
Open HTX
Pick OKX if
  • → you trade spot often enough for the entry tier to matter: 0.0800% and 0.1000% against 0.2000% on both sides at HTX, as of the verification date
  • → you want Earn products next to the trading balance — the OKX catalogue is mapped on Yieldo and the HTX side has no rows at all
  • → you live in the EEA: OKX operates there on a passported MiCA licence, while the HTX user agreement bars every EU member state

A route requires open withdrawals at the sender and deposits at the receiver on the same network and in the same token form. Selection requires a known fee and a withdrawal minimum compatible with 1,000 USDT. The fee shown is the sender withdrawal fee; verify the terms at both exchanges before transferring.

Moving USDT from HTX to OKX is a plain on-chain withdrawal: there is no intermediary rail, and you pay only the sender's network fee. A network counts as a working route only when HTX has withdrawals open on it and OKX has deposits open — the pair shares 49 such networks right now, and the transfer block prices each of them.

  1. Read the HTX to OKX card in the transfer block on this page: it names the cheapest network APTOS that has withdrawals open on HTX and deposits open on OKX. The cheapest rail shifts as promos and maintenance come and go, so read it fresh instead of from memory.
  2. Check the price before you send. The sender fee on a $1,000 USDT transfer is priced in the same block, and the exact figure 0.1 is on that card.
  3. Copy the OKX deposit address for that exact network. An address issued for one network will not accept a transfer sent over another, and such transfers cannot always be recovered.
  4. Check the HTX minimum withdrawal and the OKX minimum deposit: on small transfers they get in the way more often than the fee.
  5. Send, then follow the confirmations. Routes do go down for maintenance, and the reliability block on this page counts the withdrawal freezes of the last 30 days: the HTX figure 0 sits beside the OKX one 1 in the same row. The reverse direction, OKX to HTX, is priced separately on its own card.

A change means the value moved between samples, not the sample itself: polling records the rate regularly, and without that collapse "changes" would simply equal the number of readings.

Withdrawal Fee Comparison

Each row compares one coin on one shared network; fees are in units of that coin. BTC includes only Bitcoin and the separate SegWit option; BTC representations on BSC, X Layer and other chains are excluded. The network and token form must match the receiving address details. FAQ

Which is cheaper to trade on, HTX or OKX?
At the entry tier, OKX. On the verification date its Regular-user spot rate was 0.0800% maker and 0.1000% taker, against 0.2000% on both sides at HTX Prime0. On USDT-margined perpetuals the two are close: 0.0200% and 0.0500% against 0.0200% and 0.0600%. Withdrawal cost is a separate question that depends on the network rather than the venue — the fee tables on this page show both columns.
Do HTX and OKX require identity verification?
Both do, in different shapes. OKX asks for advanced verification before you can trade, deposit or withdraw at all. HTX gates it in levels: the first opens deposits and withdrawals, the second and third raise the caps, which its October 2022 notice put at 5 BTC and 200 BTC a day. Neither is a route to withdrawing without KYC, and the thresholds move with your region.
Can I use HTX or OKX from the EU or the UK?
The HTX user agreement bars users in every EU member state and in the United Kingdom from all services. OKX Europe runs on a MiCA licence issued by the Malta Financial Services Authority and passported across the EEA, while in the UK it restricts derivatives, cefi and P2P services. Both documents are amended without notice, so read the live versions before funding an account.
Which exchange has more coins you can withdraw?
HTX runs the wider list and OKX the shorter curated one — that is a difference in listing strategy, not a temporary state. The HTX column 1157 and the OKX column 477 sit in the overlap block on this page and are measured the same way, off coins with withdrawal data in the Yieldo base rather than off either venue's full listing. The same block counts what is exclusive to each side: the HTX-only figure 886 and the OKX-only figure 206 share a row with the 271 coins both venues carry.
Why is there no Earn comparison on this page?
Because there is nothing on our side to compare with. Yieldo maps the OKX Earn catalogue and holds no HTX Earn rows at all. Putting a filled column next to an empty one would read as HTX offering nothing, which is false: HTX Earn and staking products are named in the exchange's own user agreement. The data is missing here, not the product there.
How do funding rates compare between HTX and OKX?
Carefully. Our perpetual coverage is much thinner on the HTX side, so the funding block reads as a partial sample rather than a whole market. The settlement interval is also set per contract on both venues — 8, 4 or 1 hour at HTX, 8, 4, 2 or 1 at OKX — so two rates say nothing next to each other until you know which period each covers and normalise them.
