Aster is a decentralized trading platform with spot markets and perpetual futures. The project develops its own Aster Chain for derivatives trading.
Holders can lock ASTER in staking with a chosen validator. The locked amount and remaining lock duration determine veASTER, a position weight used for loyalty rewards alongside a trading-volume boost; active validators vote on new trading pairs. On BNB Smart Chain, ASTER is a BEP-20 token.
