ENA is the governance token of Ethena, the protocol behind the synthetic dollar USDe. Holders participate in decisions on USDe’s backing assets, new strategies and the Risk Committee.
Depositing ENA into Ethena’s staking programme provides sENA, a token representing the position. ENA can be withdrawn seven days after an unstaking request. In a separate programme, users deposit USDe to receive sUSDe, whose USDe value grows as rewards accrue. The Ethena app requires users to be at least 18 and excludes US citizens and residents, alongside other jurisdictions listed in its terms.
