Asset profile

PENDLE is the token of Pendle, a protocol for trading the future yield of crypto assets. Pendle markets use separate tokens: PT represents the principal portion redeemable at maturity, while YT represents the asset's yield until that date. PT's redemption value is measured in the asset shown in the market name. To participate in governance and reward distributions, a holder stakes PENDLE on Ethereum and receives sPENDLE at a 1:1 ratio. Under Pendle V2's rules, part of the protocol's fees funds PENDLE purchases, and repurchased tokens are distributed to active participants as sPENDLE. Rewards can be claimed in the Pendle app. To remain active, a participant votes when a Pendle Protocol Proposal is available; during periods without a proposal, all sPENDLE holders are considered active. PENDLE can be withdrawn after a 14-day wait or immediately for a 5% fee.
