Bittensor connects independent subnets whose participants provide computing, AI model responses, data storage and other digital services. Validators assess their output, while each subnet defines how rewards are allocated.
TAO is the native coin of the Bittensor blockchain. It pays network fees and is used to trade subnet tokens. Holders can stake TAO with validators; staking on a subnet swaps TAO through its pool for that subnet’s alpha token.
